1.American society of anaesthesiologists gradeI-II
2.Scheduled for caesarian section under spinal anesthesia
3.Pregnant patients giving informed,written and valid consent
4.Atleast 36weeks of gestational age
5.Singleton pregnancy
1.Pregnant women with history of cardiac,liver or kidney disease
2.Any contraindication to spinal anesthesia
3.Patients belonging to American society of anaesthesiologists gradeIII,IVand V
4.Anatomical abnormalities of spine
5.Patient refusal
6.Pregnant women with allergy to amide local anesthetic
7.More than 2 dural punctures
8.History of migraine or any chronic headache preoperatively or on the morning of surgery.
