Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients undergoing oral and maxillofacial surgeries requiring awake nasotracheal intubation with flexible bronchoscope.
- •2\.Patients consenting to participate.
- •3\.Patients belonging to American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade I and II.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients with the history of obstructive sleep apnea, nasal trauma, nasal surgery, bleeding diathesis, infection of upper airway
- •2\.Patients who are taking anti\-coagulant therapy.
- •3\.Patients who are on anti\-hypertensives.
- •4\.Patients in whom postoperative ventilation will be anticipated
