Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. History of plantar heel pain for greater than one month.
  • 2\. Hip abductor weakness.
  • 3\. Pain provoked by taking the first few step in the morning.
  • 4\. Participants must be willing to attend the assessment and treatment sessions.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Women who are pregnant.
  • 2\. Presence of peripheral vascular disease.
  • 3\. Participants with diabetes mellitus.
  • 4\. A known hypersensitivity to metals.
  • 5\. The presence of a chronic medical conditions:\- Malignancy, Systemic inflammatory disorders such as Rheumatoid arthritis, Ankylosing spondylitis, Septic arthritis etc.
  • 6\. Foot deformity e.g congenital deformity.
