65 years or older with sarcopenia, i.e. low muscle mass ((assessed with bioelectrical impedance analysis): skeletal muscle mass index (SMMI) = SMM [in kg] / (height [in m])² = 10,75 kg/m² (men) / = 6,75 kg/m² (women)) in combination with low muscle strength (hand grip strength (dynamometry) < 30 kg (men) bzw. < 20 kg (women)) and/or slow walking speed (< 0,8 m/s)
not sarcopenic, refusal or unable to give informed consent, contraindication for bioelecrical impedance analysis, diagnosis of dementia or severe cognitive impairment or unable to understand task, severe depression, unable to sufficiently speak or understand German

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method the relative importance of 5 sarcopenia-related study outcomes for affected persons (mobility, quality of life, falls, activities of daily living, fatigue) by means of a discrete choice experiment (questionnaire with 13 scenarios)
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method differences in primary outcome between the 7 participating countries
