Age over 18 years
- On a voluntary basis /Signed informed consent to participate in the study.
- - Consent to photographs of the entire face.
- Naturally healthy dentition, or maximum 1/3 of occlusal surface replaced by fillings - cusps intact.
- No or completed orthodontic treatment with stable occlusal conditions (support in all 4 support zones).
- Sufficient oral hygiene
- No periodontal disease; stable periodontal conditions
- Known bruxism
- Patients under 18 years of age
-Pregnant
- Incapacitated persons (e.g. due to dementia)
- Psychosomatic concomitant disease
- Persons wearing a removable replacement in the upper or lower jaw
- Acute events such as joint effusion or trauma
- Pain disorders such as fibromyalgia syndrome, neuropathic
- pain, trigeminal neuralgia or atypical facial painPermanent splint therapy
- CMD complaints (CMD brief findings)
- Ongoing orthodontic treatment
- Necessary dental rehabilitation
- Previous adjustment osteotomy
- Cosmetic corrections in the facial area, especially of the nose and ears
- Presence of alcohol or drug abuse.
- Involvement in the planning and execution of the study.

Name Time Method The primary objective is the correlation of the angles between the masticatory plane to be determined intraorally and extraoral reference planes: Camper plane (KE-CE), bipupillary line (KE-BP), Frankfurt horizontal (KE-FH) and Ricketts line (KE-RL).
