Inclusion Criteria
1. Age = 18 years
2. an at least mild-to-moderate (20-40% NASCET) Stenosis of one ore more extracranial brain supplying artery OR
3. any stenosis of an intracranial brain supplying artery OR
4. a revascularisation (either Operation or stenting) of an extracranial brain supplying artery in the past
5. written and informed consent of the participant

Name Time Method 1. It shall be examined whether there is an association between the adherence to the best medical therapy and the cardio-vascular risk (assessment of cardio-vascular events as well as of the following surrogate parameters: high-sensitive CRP, total-, HDL- and LDL cholesterol, HbA1c, and sonographic progression of stenosis).
