Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Evaluate staining of teeth and restorations using different types of mouthwashes (Chlorhexidine 0.12% and Blue®M). All patients were photographed before and after treatment so that photographic analyzes could be performed, in addition, the area of staining of the teeth was evaluated with the ImageJ software. It was observed that 0.12% chlorhexidine had significantly greater staining than Blue®M.;Clinical analyzes (marginal bleeding index and bacterial biofilm index) were performed to determine whether the patient had gingivitis or not, before and after treatment with the mouthwashes. It was found that both mouthwashes were efficient in the treatment of gingivitis, with no significant difference between the products.
