- •Are aged above 18 years at initial assessment

- •Currently on cholesterol lowering drugs
- •Currently on non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
- •Currently on fructose/sugar restricted diet
- •Currently on weight loss program
- •Have a body mass index (BMI) greater than 30
- •Diagnosed with any gastrointestinal disorder
- •Pregnancy or lactation
- •Undergone any surgical procedure for obesity
