Inclusion Criteria
patient undergoing radial arterial puncture as routine or emergency procedure.
patients with GCS score of 12-15
Exclusion Criteria
patients with allen test negative
patients having radial artery fistula
patients with history of cold stress
patients with history of drug allergy towards the ethyl chloride spray
patients with decreased sign of consciousness
patients not signing the consent form

Name Time Method pain perception using visual analogue scale.Timepoint: pain assessed within 1min ater procedure
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method haematoma of puncture site.Timepoint: obsevation of hematoma will be done at 15min 30min and 2hour interval.
