Inclusion Criteria
- •patients above 20 years of age and of either sex undergoing elective off pump coronary artery bypass surgery and showing an serum albumin level of < 4.0 g/dL the day before surgery
Exclusion Criteria
- •1) emergency
- •2) patients with a history of allergic reactions to human albumin
- •3) patients with preoperative creatinine level = 1.5 mg/dl, or requiring dialysis
- •4) patients with a preoperative inotrope, intraaortic balloon pump, or ventricular assist device support
- •5) left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) = 40%
- •6) patients undergoing concomitant valvular or aortic surgery
