ACUTE ISCHEMIC STROKE WITH CT SCAN EVIDENCE OF INFARCTION WITHIN 72 HOUR OF ONSET OF STROKE.
Exclusion Criteria
PATIENTS WITH
1. PREVIOUS HISTORY OF STROKE
2. MEDICATIONS WHICH CAN INFLUENCE URIC ACID LEVELS
3. KNOWN CASE OF GOUT
4. KIDNEY DISEASES
5. THYROID DISORDERS
6. ON STEROID THERAPY
7. CT SCAN- BLEED IN THE BRAIN
8. HEMATOLOGICAL - BLOOD DISORDERS
