Older adult caregivers aged 60 and above who have been providing care to the persons with severe mental illness for more than 6 months.
Older adult caregivers giving consent to participate in the interview.
Both the gender.
Able to understand and comprehend questions.
Able to read, write and speak in English and/or Assamese.
Those who report mental illness.
If the older adult caregiverâ??s Hindi Mental State Examination score is <= 23.
Older adult caregivers providing care for more than one person with mental illness.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The primary outcome is to understand the psychosocial correlates of mental health in older adult caregivers of person with mental illness.Timepoint: 30 months.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Exploring the association between the psychosocial correlates such as caregiver burden, coping, social support, physical health with mental health (depression, anxiety and stress). It will also explore the experiences of caregiving among the older adults.Timepoint: 30 months.
