Inclusion Criteria

1.ASA Grade 1 or 2

2.Posted for 2 hour long elective surgeries under General Anaesthesia

Exclusion Criteria

1.Patient refusal for procedure

2.Patient with history of cardiac, pulmonary or renal disease

3.Taking sedatives, hypnotics or anti-hypertensive medication

4.Any known allergy to Local anaesthetic

5.BMI >3O kg per meter square

6.Pregnant or breastfeeding females
