Inclusion Criteria

Patients posted for elective surgery under general anaesthesia with endotracheal tube. Patients under American society of Anaesthesiologists physical status 1&2. Patients with BMI less than 35kg/m2

Exclusion Criteria

Patients under ASA 3 & 4. Patients with difficult airway. Patients in whom other forms of regional anesthesia is also used. Patients with known allergy to Melatonin, Pregabalin or clonidine. Patient not willing to give consent for the study.
