简要总结

The study titled “Effects of Combined Copenhagen Adduction Exercise and Nordic Hamstring Exercises on Dynamic Balance and Sport-Specific Performance in State and District Level Badminton Players – A Randomised Controlled Trial” aims to evaluate the effect of two specific eccentric exercises, Copenhagen Adduction Exercise (CAE) and Nordic Hamstring Exercise (NHE) on improving dynamic balance and shuttle run performance among badminton players aged 15–25.

Badminton involves intense footwork, lunging, and quick direction changes, placing strain on lower limb muscles like the adductors and hamstrings. Injuries in these areas are common, despite badminton being a non-contact sport.

There is limited research on the combined effect of CAE and NHE in badminton players, although both are known to improve muscle strength and reduce injury risk individually.

This is a 6-week randomized controlled trial involving 76 state and district-level players, divided into an intervention group (receiving CAE + NHE training) and a control group (routine exercises).

Y-Balance Test and shuttle run time will be used to assess improvements in balance and sport-specific performance.

The study expects to demonstrate that a combination of CAE and NHE can significantly enhance performance and reduce injury risk in competitive badminton, offering sport-specific, evidence-based training insights.
