Child aged 2 yrs to 15 years with acute exacerbation of bronchial asthma.
A. Asthmatic Children who had received any form corticosteroid therapy in less
than 24 hours from the time of admission
B. Children who had received salbutamol in the last 6 hours.
C. Children with known history of cardiovascular disease, chronic renal disease, chronic lung disease or diabetes mellitus, congenital anomalies, genetic or metabolic
disorders.
D. Children with known allergy to corticosteroids
E. Children with Oral candidiasis
F. Children with known systemic hypertension
