Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Written informed consent for participation in study.
- •Age: 40yrs\-75yrs.
- •Either gender.
- •ASA physical status I, II and III.
- •Patients undergoing opthalmic sugeries under peribulbar anaesthesia
Exclusion Criteria
- •Refusal of consent.
- •Baseline heart rate \<60/min.
- •Hypovolemia with systolic blood pressure \<90mmhg.
- •Chronic respiratory illness.
- •Difficult intubation.
- •Mobitz type II or type III AV block.
- •Chronic renal failure.
- •Hepatic impairement.
- •Psychiatric illness.
- •Hypertension
