Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •age between 18\-85 years
- •\- diagnosis of idiopathic dystonia at time of surgery
- •\- bilateral GPI\-DBS
- •\- poor response to GPI\-DBS (less than 30 % improvement on the BFMDRS\-M compared to preoperative state)
- •\- stable clinical status after GPi\-DBS for a minimum of 3 months
- •\- written informed consent given by patient
- •\- no other severe neurological or other clinical problem
Exclusion Criteria
- •\- other severe neurological disease (dementia, epilepsy)
- •\- persons who are not legally competent, minors and indivduals who have been under custody due to a court ruling or by decision of public authorities
