Inclusion Criteria
1.Patient willing to give written informed consent
2.age 18 years to 45years of both sex.
3.ASA grade 1 and 2
4.Weight 40-80kg
5.Planned for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anaesthesia
Exclusion Criteria
1.History of allergy to clonidine
2.Anticipated difficult intubation
3.History of consumption of antihypertensive drugs, sedative, hypnotics and antidepressants preoperatively.
4.History of cardiovascular disease,significant respiratory,renal and hepatic disorder.
5.History of drugs or alcohol abuse.
Pregnant women.
