入选标准
- •Obesity\-related hypertensive patients with impaired cardiac autonomic control
排除标准
- •Participants with secondary hypertension
- •Participants with a body mass index (BMI) \>40 kg/m2 i.e. morbidly obese.
- •Uncontrolled arrhythmias
- •Uncontrolled hypertension (systolic blood pressure \>180/120 mm Hg)
- •Any structural heart defects (detected by echocardiography)
- •Muscular or joint conditions limiting participation in the exercise training.
- •Previous participation in structured aerobic or resistance exercise (during the last 6 months).
- •Individuals with severe cardiac disease (New York Heart Association class III).
- •Current smokers
- •Presence of other metabolic disorder including diabetes mellitus, thyroid dysfunction and metabolic syndrome.
