1. Patients with chronic primary pain of heel (ICD code- 11, MG 30.0). Heel pain persist for at least 3 months or more and absence of any bony deformity of foot on X-ray.
2. Age: 18 – 65years.
3. Patients of either sex including transgenders
4. Patients already undergoing regular oral or topical analgesics or NSAID therapy for painful episodes of chronic primary pain of heel, provided the medications are stopped completely at least 2 weeks prior study entry.
5. Cases eligible for polarity analysis. Patient having at least 5 polar symptoms and 10 indicated remedies under a rubric.
1. Not providing with informed consent voluntarily
2. Those cases suffering from uncontrolled systemic illness or life-threatening infections, suffering from calcaneal spur or any bony deformity or foot pathology.
3. Self-reported joint disorders (e.g., specific arthropathy, hyperuricaemia and/or gout, fracture or injury to the bones, bone tumour, joint or skin
infections, joint prostheses of the lower limbs, rheumatoid arthritis)
4. Steroid injections within 2 weeks before study entry
5. Recent significant heel surgery within last 6 months
6. Diagnosed cases of unstable mental or psychiatric illness or other uncontrolled or life-threatening illness affecting quality of life
7. Pregnancy, puerperium, lactation
8. Vulnerable population – Unconscious, non-ambulatory, too ill for consultation, differently abled, terminally ill or critically ill patients,
mentally disabled people
9. Substance abuse and or dependence
10. Self-reported immune-compromised state
11. Undergoing homoeopathic treatment for any chronic disease within last 6 months, and
12. Simultaneous participation in any other clinical trial
