Name Time Method Main Objective: Do local anaesthetic and steroid injections into hip replacement wounds at the time of surgery improve patients' postoperative pain;Secondary Objective: Do local anaesthetic and steroid injections into hip replacement wounds at the time of surgery reduce the time taken to mobilise and the time spent in hospital after surgery and do they affect infection rates or wound healing;Primary end point(s): volume of morphine used in patient controlled analgesia pumps post operatively
