入选标准
- •1.Osteopenic patients of all the genders diagnosed
- •by Bone Mineral density Test
- •2.Patient presenting with Clinical features of
- •Asthikshaya.
- •3.Patients complaining of symptoms like joint
- •pain,backache, pain in the bones which will be
- •confirmed later by BMD test
排除标准
- •Patient with Rheumatoid arthritis, gouty arthritis and long-standing systemic disorders were excluded.
- •Patients having diabetes mellitus, uncontrolled hypertension, thyrotoxicosis, hyperparathyroidism, hypoparathyroidism, tuberculosis of bone, Paget’s disease, osteomalacia, chronic renal disease, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism.
- •Pregnant and lactating woman.
- •Patient under any drug which is known to affect bone metabolism SERMs, Bisphosphates, calcitonin, Vitamin-D and corticosteroids for more than 3 months.
