Control group: Children aged 3-7 years born and raised in Germany
Exclusion Criteria
Mental disability or critical medical conditions

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Detailled neuropsychological and social-paediatric assessment of 50 refugee children and 20 control children to determine correlates of pathological survival states among the variables studied: trauma-screening in parent-rating, parent self-rating, general symptom load in parent- and caregiver-rating, learning and playing behaviour, salivary cortisol. Additionally, there is a follow-up after two years.
