this a randomised parralal group trial in department of shalyatantra opd  and ipd at government akhandanand ayurved hospital and maniben ayurved hospital ahmedabad gujarat. dealing with the treatment of disease dushta vrana . acharya sushruta has described that this disease shoud treat with various  upkrama among them  vrana shodhana and varana ropana and various drugs and therapies described to treat this disease.. in this clinico comparative trial in groupk: karanjadi ghrita and in group: j jatyadi ghrita is applied for dushta vrana shodhana and in both group vrana shodhana is done with prakshalana  with panch valkala kwatha.

Inclusion Criteria

1.POST OPERATIVE WOUND WITH SYMPTOMS OF DUSHTA VRANA 2.VRANA SIZE WITHIN 5CMS BY 5 CMS 3.CLASSICAL SIGN AND SYMPTOMS OF DUSHTA VRANA DESCRIBED IN SUSHRUTA SUTRA STHANA 22.

Exclusion Criteria
  • 1 Tubercular wound 2 Leprotic wound 3 Malignant wound 4 Diabetic wound 5 Wounds having excessive loss of tissues etc.
  • 6 HIV reactive 7 HbsAg reactive 8 Wounds in patients of burgers disease 9 Varicose ulcer.
