Inclusion Criteria
American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I or II.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients requiring emergency care due to their inability to control nothing by mouth (NPO) fasting time, and those diagnosed with diabetes, ulcerative colitis, or Crohn’s disease, all of which can affect patients’ GI motility. Patients with renal dysfunction were also excluded
