Inclusion Criteria
American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I and II.
Patients posted for spine surgery- single level decompression.
Age ranging from 18-65 years.
Exclusion Criteria
Patient refusal.
History of relevant drug allergy.
History of psychiatric illness and substance abuse.
Patient suffering from severe cardiovascular, respiratory, liver, metabolic or neurological disease.
Pregnant patient.
Coagulopathy.
Infection/ injury at planned injection site.
Psychological inability of the patient to understand and interpret visual analogue scale.
