Inclusion Criteria
All acute severe pancreatitis on admission
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patients who are already on or fit to be on oral diet
2. Patients who have mild disease.
3. Critically ill patients who cannot undergo endoscopic guided tube placement.

Name Time Method 1. Safety and tolerability of nasojejunal feeds. <br/ ><br>2. Development of pancreatic necrosis and infection (pancreatic or extrapancreatic). <br/ ><br>3. Reduction in the serum TNF-alfa, IL-1 and IL-6 levels. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: Periodically during the hospital stay and at time of discharge/death
