Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients who were hemodynamically stable
- •American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) grade Iâ??III
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients who were pregnant;
- •Patients on chronic steroids;
- •Patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease;
- •Patients with malignant ulcers confirmed by pre\-operative histopathological examination,
- •Patients who required postoperative intensive care unit (ICU) care
