Inclusion Criteria

CT proven uncomplicated acute diverticulitis.
Observation for two hours without deterioration.
Eligible for HITH.

Exclusion Criteria

Active co-mobidities (i.e. Diabetes, Heart failure, Kidney failure).
Lives alone/poor social supports.
Clinical deterioration in first two hours of observation.
Unwilling to be treated at home with HITH.
