Inclusion criteria Group 1:
According to the guidelines of the DGN at least three of the four criteria listed below must be met:
- Clinical symptoms of multifocal or diffuse CNS disease with recurrent or progressive course.
- Cerebral angiography, cerebrospinal fluid and / or MRI diagnosis-that supports the diagnosis of vasculitis.
- Exclusion of an underlying systemic infection or inflammation.
- Histological evidence of parenchymal or leptomeningeal vasculitis and exclusion of infection, neoplasia or other primary vascular disease.
Inclusion criteria Group 2:
-PCNSV as a suspected disease was not confirmed by history and examination results
-Symptoms are explained by another diagnosis
Exclusion criteria Group 1:
- Other, symptoms explanatory disease of the CNS
- Severe organic brain syndrome with lack of capacity to consent

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The primary endpoint is the evidence or lack of an HLA association in patients with PCNSV compared to the control group. The assessment is based on laboratory results when laboratory analysis will be completed.

Name Time Method Secondary endpoints are differences of clinical and diagnostic findings in patients with PCNSV and patients with a different diagnosis.
