Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Patient of Chronic kidney disease, Stage 3\-5, haemoglobin \<\= 9 g/dL
  • •2\.Patient on or not on dialysis.
  • •3\.Serum ferritin level below 100 ng/mL in dialysis naïve patients and below 200 ng/mL in dialysis dependent patients
  • •4\.Transferrin saturation (TSAT) below 20%.
  • •5\.Written informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Pregnancy
  • •2\.Lactating females
  • •3\.Acute infection
  • •4\.Haematological disorders like thalessemia, leukemia,haemophilia
  • •5\.Haemochromatosis
  • •6\.Critically ill patient
  • •HIV/HBsAg/Anti\-HCV and immunocompromised patient.
  • •Severe Renal pathology such as malignancy
