Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Adult patients of either gender.
  • 2\.ASA I, II and III.
  • 3\.Posted for elective surgery under general anaesthesia requiring endotracheal intubation.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Trauma,tumour or deformity of upper airway.
  • 2\. Difficult mouth opening with inter imcisor gap \< 3 cm.
  • 3\. Cervical spine fracture.
  • 4\. Past history ofdifficult intubation.
  • 5\. Pregnant patients.
  • 6\. Patients with thyroid or neck swelling.
