Inclusion Criteria
1.Adult patients of either gender.
2.ASA I, II and III.
3.Posted for elective surgery under general anaesthesia requiring endotracheal intubation.
Exclusion Criteria
1. Trauma,tumour or deformity of upper airway.
2. Difficult mouth opening with inter imcisor gap < 3 cm.
3. Cervical spine fracture.
4. Past history ofdifficult intubation.
5. Pregnant patients.
6. Patients with thyroid or neck swelling.
