Traditional irrigation methods, such as syringe irrigation, may struggle to reach the entirety of the root canal system, especially areas with complex anatomy like isthmuses, fins, and accessory canals. This limitation can result in inadequate disinfection and debris removal and increasing the risk of infection and treatment failure.(1,2)
Syringe irrigation, can lead to procedural accidents such as extrusion of irrigants beyond the apex, causing irritation to periapical tissues or even inducing post-operative pain and swelling.(1,2)
Manual irrigation techniques lack the precision and control offered by advanced irrigation systems.(1)
Traditional irrigation methods may prolong the duration of endodontic treatment due to the need for repetitive irrigation and aspiration cycles.
These limitations highlight the need for the development and adoption of advanced irrigation techniques in modern endodontic practice.
Effective irrigation is essential for the successful elimination of microorganisms and debris from the root canal system which is achieved by use of newer advanced irrigation methods like sonic and ultrasonic irrigation which increases the efficacy of root canal treatment.(1)

- •1.Age range 18-55 years.
- •2.Single rooted teeth with or without apical periodontitis.
- •3.Teeth with adequate crown structure for isolation.
排除标准
- •1.Periapical radiolucency and severe periodontal diseases.
- •2.Patients undergoing orthodontic treatment.
- •3.Pregnant and lactating patients.
- •4.Teeth with complex root canal morphology or calcified canals.
- •5.Patients with chronic systemic disease.
