Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •group 1\- women above the age of 18 years who have come for antenatal evaluation with symptoms and/ or signs suggestive of chronic generalised periodontitis.
- •group 2\- matched individuals with the absence of periodontal infections.
- •\-women in either groups who deferred treatment post evaluation.
Exclusion Criteria
- •women above the age of 18 years\-
- •\- with severe/ fulminant chronic generalised peri\-odonotitis requiring active intervention.
- •\- women with systemic diseases which are already established causes of the outcomes in question\- hypertensive disorders, diabetes mellitus, infections like UTI etc.
