Inclusion Criteria

Regular use of the bimaxillary complete dentures for at least one year, need to replace complete dentures, good general health, absence of intraoral pathology or lesions, absence of changes in the perioral musculature

Exclusion Criteria

Health problems that make rehabilitative treatment unfeasible and to return appointments, severely reabsorbed ridge, palatine torus to need surgery remotion

Clinical evaluation of the mucosa with the registration of its characteristics in a specific clinical record, mapping of occlusal contact points from the location of contact points with carbon tape, assessment of the need for adjustments after delivery of the complete dentures with identification in a clinical record.
Secondary Outcome Measures

Assessment of the need for repair of complete dentures, analysis of the impact of quality of life on oral health using the OHIP-Edent questionnaire, assessment of patient satisfaction with the new complete dentures based on a questionnaire validated in the literature, evaluation of masticatory performance based on a mixing ability test with chewing gum, identification of the patient's preference for one of the two treatments and cost-effectiveness analysis based on the calculation of the cost of clinical time to carry out the clinical and laboratory steps and the materials used to perform the clinical procedures and the effectiveness will be obtained from data of the quality of life.
