Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • ASA I patients
  • 1\) In the age group 18 to 40 and of either gender.
  • 2\) CLASS I,II AND POSITION A,B impacted 3rd molar (according to PELL and GREGORY classification ).
  • 3\)Patient who is willing to participate in study

Exclusion Criteria

  • ASA II,III,IV patient .
  • 1\) CLASS III AND POSITION C impacted 3rd molar (according to PELL and GREGORY classification )
  • 2\) Acute infection
  • 3\) Patient allergic to flupirtine maleate and Ibuprofen
  • 4\) Patient having gastric ulcer
  • 5\) Patient on analgesics for past 1 week .
  • 6\) Patient with systemic disease, pregnancy and lactating women or any other medical therapy that could interfere with healing process .
  • 7\) Immunocompromised patient
  • 8\) Mentally challenged patient.
  • 9\) Patient who is not willing to participate in study.
