Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\) Patients posted for elective surgery below the level of umbilicus requiring subarachnoid block
- •2\) Patients 60 years and above
- •3\) ASA PS I / II patients
- •4\) Patients with good radial pulse and no radio\-radial delay
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\) Any contraindication for Subarachnoid block
- •2\) Patients with valvular heart diseases
- •3\) Inadequate block: When there is problems with the extent, quality or duration of the local anaesthetic action
- •4\) Technical failure
- •5\) Conversion into general anaesthesia
- •6\) Requiring any extra sedation or analgesic
