1) Patients posted for elective surgery below the level of umbilicus requiring subarachnoid block
2) Patients 60 years and above
3) ASA PS I / II patients
4) Patients with good radial pulse and no radio-radial delay
1) Any contraindication for Subarachnoid block
2) Patients with valvular heart diseases
3) Inadequate block: When there is problems with the extent, quality or duration of the local anaesthetic action
4) Technical failure
5) Conversion into general anaesthesia
6) Requiring any extra sedation or analgesic
