1) Parturients with nonsevere preeclampsia posted for elective and emergency caesarean section.
2) Parturients belonging to ASA grade II and III
3) Parturients who are willing to give informed informed consent.
1) Parturients with complicated obstetric history
2)Parturients with cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease.
3)Parturients with impending eclampsia and eclampsia
4)Parturients on Magnesium sulphate
5) Parturients with more than 750 ml intraoperative blood loss
6)height less than 150cm and BMI more than 35
7) Parturients requiring more than 10 units oxytocin or other additional uterotonic drugs
