- •Patients belonging to American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I and II, scheduled for surgery under general anesthesia, who are able to pronounce a/e/i/o/u, requiring mask ventilation, laryngoscopy and endotracheal intubation.

- •Cervical spine injury
- •Temporo-mandibular joint ankylosis
- •Facial anomalies
- •Pathology of larynx
