Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Age ââ?°Â¥ 18 years
- •2\.Awaiting percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
- •3\.Serum creatinine of \>1\.4 mg/dl or an estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) of \<60 ml/min/1\.73m2 or Pre\-PCI Mehran score ââ?°Â¥ 11
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients on hemodialysis/peritoneal dialysis
- •2\.Recent intravascular contrast exposure (ââ?°Â¤ 2 weeks prior to present admission)
- •3\.Inability to perform remote ischaemic conditioning (RIC) (e.g., bilateral upper limb trauma/amputation, severe ischaemia etc)
- •4\.Pregnancy
- •5\.Hypotension (MAP \< 60mmHg)
