Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Single episode of stroke involving one cerebral hemisphere of duration more than 2 months
  • 2\.Stroke occurance confirmed by MRI or CT
  • 3\.Voluntary shoulder flexion of the affected arm \=20° with simultaneous elbow extension \=10°and metacarpophalangeal and interphalangeal joint extension \=10° of the paretic limb
  • 4\.UE Fugl\-Meyer Assessment score of 17 to 56
  • 5\.Modified Ashworth Scale more than 1 over the elbow flexor, forearm pronator,wristflexor,and or finger flexor muscles
  • 6\.Able to sit for at least 30 minutes without assistance
