Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. severe bilateral osteoarthritis
  • 2\. Patients were included in the study following informed consent to bilateral operation and acceptance of two different surgical techniques in total knee arthroplasties.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. severe instability which needs ligament reconstruciton
  • 2\. history of rheumatoid arthritis, post\-traumatic arthritis, or infectious arthritis
  • 3\. neuronal disease or weakness of lower extremity
  • 4\. in treatment of cancer
  • 5\. history of computed tomographic exams within 6 months or more than 3 times
  • 6\. in pregnancy or having possibility of pregnancy
  • 7\. history of claustrophobia
