Inclusion Criteria
- •1] Primi and multigravida
- •2] Full term singleton pregnancy with established labour pain
- •3] Vertex presentation
- •4] Patient with active phase of labour
Exclusion Criteria
- •1] Scarred uterus
- •2] Foetal demise
- •3] Foetal distress
- •4] Multiple pregnancy
- •5] Malpresentations
- •6] Cephalopelvic disproportions
- •7] Medical complications like heart disease, diabetes mellitus, asthma, myasthenia gravis, glaucoma psychotic illness or epilepsy
