Inclusion Criteria

i)Adults of ASA physical status I/II

ii)age - 18 to 60 years

iii) surgical procedure - elective abdominal laparoscopic surgeries ( laproscopic cholecystectomy , laproscopic

appendicectomy , total laproscopic hysterectomy)

iv)Surgical duration less than 3 hours

Exclusion Criteria

Patients already on treatment with anti-emetics, steroid medication, or any

other drug known to cause emesis currently or in the immediate past , Auricular pain , Allergy to adhesive tape, Hypersensitivity reaction to Ramosetron or

Dexamethasone , Pregnant or nursing mothers , Vomiting within 24 hours before surgery or of any organic etiology.

Primary Outcome Measures

To know the efficacy of triple therapy: Auricular acupressure, IV ramosetron 0.3mg & dexamethasone 4mg in prevention of PONV in adult patients undergoing elective <br/ ><br>abdominal laparoscopic surgeries under general anaesthesia, by the end of 24 hours from the beginning of surgery.Timepoint: Every 2nd hourly during intra-operative period and after 6 hours and 24hrs of post surgery.

TO ASSESS : <br/ ><br>Severity of PONV , Number of rescue antiemetic medications required , Assessment of Aphel scoring and comparison with the incidence and severity of PONV, by the end of 24 hours post-surgery.Timepoint: Every second hourly during intra operative period and and after 6 hours and 24 hours during post operative period.
