1. Healthy patients requiring extraction of maxillary molar
2. Age group: 20-60 years
3. Patients willing to participate in the study
4. Patients who have firm maxillary molars indicated for extraction
1. Patient allergic to amide type of local anesthetic agents
2. Patients having any systemic disease (cardiovascular disease, hypertension, anxious patients etc)
3. Pregnant and lactating mothers
4. Patients who are mentally challenged or unable to communicate
5. Patients who have clinically mobile molars
