Conscious, alert and oriented patients at the time of assessment undergoing elective neurosurgery for supratentorial lesions.

Exclusion Criteria

Refusal of consent.

Patients with hearing difficulty, delirious, or with psychiatric disturbances.

Patients planned for post-operative mechanical ventilation.
