Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patient diagnosed with chronic periodontitis with localized pocket \>\= 5 \-7
- •mm in at least one or both sides of the arches
- •Patients age between 30 to 55 years
- •Patient with at least 20 natural teeth within both jaws
- •Patients willing to participate in the study
Exclusion Criteria
- •Allergy to chlorhexidine
- •Patients with known systemic disease
- •Patients on antibiotic treatment in the preceding 3 months
- •Patients receiving treatment with any antibiotics known to affect the
- •periodontal health
- •Patient with aggressive periodontitis
- •Pregnant females
- •Patients receiving periodontal treatment within the preceding 3 months
