Inclusion Criteria

(1) under 50 years of age; (2) defects of cognitive function in one or more cognitive domain including short or long term episodic memory, constructive memory and executive function; and (3) duration over six months after electrical injury.

Exclusion Criteria

(1) cognitive dysfunction before electrical injury; (2) dependent activities of daily living due to severe cognitive dysfunction; (3) direct head trauma or obvious electrical energy entrance site on the head; (4) cardiac arrest after electrical injury; (5) burn scar on the arm or hand restricting hand writing for cognitive function test; (6) history of neurological disease or brain surgery; (7) unstable heart disease or presence of a cardiac pacemaker; (8) diabetes mellitus; (9) abnormal renal function; (10) contraindication for MRI; or (11) pregnancy.
